Personal Statement

I aspire to play for a successful D1 or D2 Baseball program while also getting a very good education. I am considered a leader on my team and I am very driven to push myself to be the best that I can be on and off the baseball field. I played JV football my freshman and was starting running back and back up QB. I also have played on a travel basketball team for several years and started in middle school, but I didn’t play basketball in high school because of how much it interferes with baseball season.  Baseball is my passion and what I have decided to focus most of my time and dedication to moving forward. I have been on the same Club Team since I was 8 years old and always started as a catcher or short stop and have been a closing pitcher some as well.

I work very hard in school, and academics are very important to me. I took all Pre A/P classes and the only AP class offered freshman year, as well as taking weighted electives including Engineering and Spanish. My sister just completed her freshman year at Vanderbilt in the School of Engineering, so I have seen first hand how important doing well in school is in order to have a successful future and get into a good college.

I would be a good candidate for a successful baseball program because of my strong work ethic and commitment to being a good team player and also by doing well in school. I will be a positive asset to any college team and look forward to pursuing baseball at the college level.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
