Parker Robinson '15 Recruiting Profile

I feel like everyone should have something in their life that makes them feel the way that I feel about baseball. Without that certain love and drive to get better at something every day, I feel that life would have no purpose. Most people probably think that with something like baseball, a game of failure, it would be hard to stay interested in it for so long. But it’s that failure that the game of baseball brings that drives me every day to succeed and be better than I was the day before. The ability to get through tough times and show good character in baseball has helped me succeed in other aspects of my life beyond the game itself. It has taught me that even in life you must push through the tough times to achieve success. Baseball has blessed me with the ability to fight back in life even when I am down, and that has made an impact on myself throughout my life.  Without baseball, and the ability to push through tough times, I wouldn’t be the person I am today.  I think it is important to find something you are truly passionate about because it can change the person you are for the rest of your life.
