Jack Carmichael '22 Recruiting Profile

I have spent my whole life around baseball. I fell in love with the game at an early age. Throughout my childhood, my parents have made any sacrifices needed for me to pursue my dream of playing collegiate baseball. 

I am a great leader on and off the field. In the classroom and on the field, I push myself to be the best version of myself that I can be. I have spent 12 years at a college preparatory, which has prepared me for many of the tough situations life has thrown my way. 

I pride myself on being accountable to not only my teammates, but my coaches too. I have been named a captain for the upcoming seasons in both basketball and baseball.

I also take pride in being a multi-sport athlete. Growing up, I have played baseball, basketball, football, and golf. But in high school, I have received varsity letters in baseball and basketball. I believe that playing multiple sports has taught me many life lessons and has been crucial to my growth as an athlete. 

My biggest goal for college is to prepare myself for life after baseball. But at the same time, I would love to make a lifelong dream come true and continue my baseball career.
