Drew Vuduris - Hi...Personal Statement
Competing in the State Semi-Finals in Football and the State Final Championship game in Baseball both in my junior year was the highlight of my high school career so far. I received numerous awards and accolades my junior year. In football, I received 2nd Team All-District for defense, Honorable Mention All-District for O-line and Academic All-State Honors. In baseball, I received 1st Team All-District, Honorable Mention All-State and Academic All-State Honors.
However, I feel most proud of being the recipient of The Ryan Rambo Scholarship, a former student of Southwest Christian School who lost his life at age 19. The scholarship is awarded to one junior male athlete at SCS each year who possess character traits like Ryan’s such as integrity, generosity, compassion, Christian leadership, and scholarship. I will do my best to always live up to these ideals.
I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program. As a two-sport athlete and captain, I know that I have what it takes to be a leader on your team!
