Caleb Geske '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Caleb Geske.  I have played baseball since I was 5 years old.  During my years of playing baseball, I have played in our local community Ieague advancing through each level in the Babe Ruth/Cal Ripken league.  I love the game because of the mental and physical aspect of the game. I have lots of experience in almost every position including my primary positions of first and third base.   Each year I strive to learn something new about the game which helps me become a better player and teammate.

I am currently a varsity starter on my high school baseball team at Friona High School and I also play in our local league each summer.   I give 100% in games and 100% in practices.  I believe my academics come first before baseball.  I am currently holding a GPA of 3.6.  I know that I still have much to improve on in the future and still so much to learn.  I think I am different from other athletes because of my mental focus on the game and my determination to be the best I can be both on and off the field.
