Jaxen Fawver '21 Recruiting Profile

I went to my first baseball game when I was 4 months old.  I love this game and want nothing more than to play in college.  I pride myself on being a team player and hard working. I will always do what it takes to get better personally and for the benefit of my team.  This year I was given the opportunity to play a new position, short stop.  It's been a challenge but I am loving it! I give 110% on and off the field, take ground balls daily, catching footwork and receiving and hitting 3 days a week.

When I'm not on the field playing,  I umpire little league games.  Umpiring has given me a whole new perspective of the game.  I also volunteer in children's ministry at my church, leading small groups of elementary aged kids.  Volunteering has taught me the value of influence and the importance of setting a good example in all things.
