As long as I can remember, I have dreamed of playing baseball at the highest level. My parents have always made baseball available to me as long as I took care of my responsibilities in the classroom. Over the years I've had opportunities to play baseball in Texas, Louisiana and Florida with very high level, select teams. I have found that playing with experienced players has always challenged me to improve upon my skills as an athlete as well as a teammate. I am aware that all of my talent is God given and I never want to take that gift for granted. My family has always supported my efforts, while encouraging me to stay focused on my grades, improving my game, and being a good teammate. I've had the opportunity to have several coaches, all of which have provided me with information that I have used to become a better player. I have worked hard to be as successful in the classroom as I have been on the baseball field. Entering my freshman year of High School, I know that my academics are critical for determining my future. Growing up in a small town, I know that being seen by college scouts is harder than a student athlete in a large city. I have to work twice as hard in the classroom as well as the baseball field to have an opportunity beyond High School. Many people have thought that my interest in baseball would change over the years but I can assure you it hasn't. I know that my love for baseball continues to grow every time I step on a field.
