Ever since I was in little league, it has been a dream of mine to play collegiate baseball. Baseball has been a part of my life for almost 15 years and I can't imagine what it would do without it. If I'm not playing baseball I'm thinking about baseball, and if I'm not thinking about baseball I'm watching baseball. When I step on the baseball field I feel like I belong on the field, it feels like I'm at home.
The passion I have for playing baseball is something I feel like sets me apart from others. My primary spot on the field is SS, but I can play anywhere and be just as passionate about playing and about doing my job and performing for the team. Despite all the long car rides home, all the bad games I've played, and all the days where I feel like I can't do anything right, I still have a burning desire to play.
Another big reason I feel I should be recruited is because I am a low maintenance player and a low maintenance student. I have the discipline and the accountability to pass my classes with good grades. As a player I am low maintenance by getting my extra work in when I can and making in game adjustments without reminders from coaches. But if my coaches have input, I listen with an open mind and try to take and use the information they give me to win games.
