Aiden Barrientes '25 Recruiting Profile

• My name is Aiden Barrientes.  I'm a young Sophomore at Katy High School in Katy, Texas with a July 30, 2007 birthdate.  

I play summer ball for Texas Twelve.  The positions I play most often are RHP, SS/3B, and C.  Over the spring/summer, I pitched 34 innings (45 SO, 0.92 ERA,  1.28 WHIP, FB Velo 85-87, Top 89) and caught about 103 innings (5PB, 6CS, 23-29 SB-ATT).   I ended the spring/summer season with a batting average of .398.

Academically, I currently have a 3.4 weighted GPA.  My strengths are Math/Science and I hope to get a degree in finance/business.  I am involved with the youth group at Church of the King,  I volunteer with the Miracle League, which is an adaptive sports league for special needs kids, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  Outside of baseball, I like to play golf, tennis, and basketball. My family enjoys snow skiing and playing all kinds of board and card games.  I have two sisters - Bailey and Ashley. Bailey went to UT Austin and did her Master's at Azusa Pacific.  Ashley went to Texas A&M and is in law school at South Texas College of Law. 

I believe I have the skill set, mental toughness, and work ethic to be successful at the D1 level. However, I am open to any and all opportunities that come my way.
