Matthew (Matt) Havens '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a hard-working student athlete at Keene Wanda R. Smith High School, with high goals set for myself. Such goals as playing at the next level for the love of the game.  As a member of the top 10% of my class I find myself academically suited for your school. I set myself apart from other prospects in my work ethic and  want to win in anything I do, as well as distinct ability to adapt and be coaches. I have received both district 9 3A first team all-district as well as an all-county award for Johnson county.  I also am involved in extracurriculars such as being President of Student Council, President of one faction of a house system, as well as an active member of Junior world affairs council. Both on and off the field I would be a great fit for your team. Outside of school, I volunteer for the St. Josephs catholic church and consider myself to be involved in my small community of Keene/Cleburne.
