Bailey Roth Dooley '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Bailey Roth Dooley and I am a Senior atKeene High School in Keene, Texas (2022).  

I am register with the NCAA Eligibility Center  

 I am dedicated to playing high level college golf and would like the opportunity to

introduce myself, show you my accomplishments, and possibly do a college tour and

explore the possibility of continuing my passion to play golf at your university.  

I started playing competitive golf 3 years ago shooting a 112 in my first School tournament, after focusing on multiple sports growing up. My childhood life consisted of balancing wrestling as a Texas state champion rank #1 (2012), #2 Oklahoma (2013), football, basketball and dabbling with golf. However, after talking with my Dad and school basketball coach, I made a full commitment to golf, as it became more and more clear golf was my passion.  Now my entire focus is on earning a spot on a college golf team. I believe I will be a top contender this spring for the State AAA title.  2021 State qualifier 36 th over all. District 9AAA Champion Region 2 AAA  6th overall

I truly believe that no one has more heart or desire than I do.

I truly believe that no one has more heart or desire than I do. My dedication, work

ethic and practice is my strongest quality. My absolute goal is to use my dedication,

proper training, and my work ethic to be on your golf team my freshman year.

My greatest strengths on the golf course are my ball striking abilities, calm demeanor

and ability to never give up. I am continually trying to improve by practicing hard at

Decordova Bend Country Club Estates Granbury, Texas, the Cleburne Links

Cleburne, Texas and Squaw Valley golf course, Glen Rose Tx.  

 I have been fortunate to work with a few great instructors and mentors, including

Coach Bell & Stephens (School), Doug Jones PGA Pro, Tony Peters, Defensive

back for the Washington Redskins ,Randall Webb and & John Sinclair, who works

with tour professionals, who I began working with about  1 year ago.  I struggled a lot

during the summer of 2019 and parts of 2020 but recently broke through to

shoot several scores under 75. It was a mental breakthrough and I am confident this

trend will continue. I’m always working hard on my mental game to never put a cap

on the scores that I can shoot or the amount of tournaments I can play.

Academically, my cumulative weighted GPA is 3.28 as of my Junior year. My

goal is to pair that GPA with a highly competitive SAT(PSAT 920) score over the

next few months. I understand academics are a big part of this recruiting process

and I have worked hard in order to not let poor grades or a test score keep me away

from playing. I will grind long and hard with the grades and test scores as I do with

Golf.
