My name is Darian Marquez, I’m 6’ 2” and I’m 235 lbs. My primary position is First Base, and I can also pitch. I’m a Senior in the Class of 2025 at Petersburg High School in Petersburg,TX. I have played baseball, since I was 4 years old. I would love the opportunity to continue to play at the college level, not just to be able to play, but I would also be grateful for an opportunity to receive a scholarship to receive a degree in Fire Science to become a professional Firefighter like my dad. I love this sport and I can’t tell you how much I love the feeling when I hear the crack of the bat and the rush when I get the out. I put God first in all I do and if it’s his will, I would love the chance to continue to do what I love.
