Hello, my name is Cutter Gray. I am a senior at Stephenville High School. I am a catcher/utility player. As a freshman I was the starting catcher for the Freshman team, then worked my way up to starting Junior Varsity catcher and bullpen catcher for our varsity team. This was a great learning experience for me. I was one of two freshman that worked up to the varsity team. My sophomore year was cut short due to Covid. My junior year I was the starting catcher for our varsity team. We made a deep run into the playoffs, making it all the way to the state semifinals. After our playoff run I was voted our District Defensive MVP. This award is voted on by the coaches in our district. It was a great honor to be recognized by the coaches in our district.
This fall I have worked as an assistant coach for a 10u team. I have learned so much through this experience. It has allowed me to see the game from a coaching standpoint and understand the game a little deeper than I did before.
I currently have a 3.8 GPA. I would like to study engineering after I graduate high school with a minor in business.
I look forward to the recruiting process and the people I will meet on the way. I work hard to become a better person, on and off the field. I know I can take these skills to college and be successful.
