Reece Bushroe '25 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to get a college education while continuing to play baseball.

I have been playing baseball since I could start throwing a ball and swinging a bat.  I started out playing AA and have worked hard each season to be a better player and teammate, working my way up to the Major level in a competitive area.  I love baseball because of the chance to go out and compete against other ballplayers and teams.  With baseball, the more you work at it, the more you can see the results of that work.  Baseball puts you into high pressure situations and that drives me to work hard and compete.

I believe that I am a great candidate for your team because I strive to out work and do whatever the team needs to compete.  I practice with my high school team 5 days a week and twice a week with club team as well as do hitting/pitching lessons, and workout on my own on the other days.  I work very hard in school and sports. I am different from other recruits because I am always pushing myself and very coachable.  In school and baseball, I listen and learn as much as I can from my teachers/coaches to be a better student/ballplayer.  

I am thankful for my parents and coaches as they have taught me to work hard on the little things to build good mechanics and foundation and to play the game the right way .   I am focused on the little things as well as working to become bigger, stronger, and faster.
