Jose Valerio '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jose Valerio Jr. I live in Uvalde, Texas and I love to play baseball. I am 15 years old and I started playing sports when I was four years old, and now my favorite sport is baseball. I started playing select baseball at the age of eight years old. I played short stop, second base, third, outfield, and pitcher. I usually batted 3rd in the line up, I love to play it because it is challenging and it makes me think. There are always different situations to learn and think about during the game. I am currently ranked 31 in my Freshman class, I was selected to be in the Gifted and Talented program as of the age of five. I was inducted in the National Honor Society in my 7th grade year. I continue to take Pre-ap class to help improve my GPA. My goal is to play college ball and obtain a career in Engineering. I am humble, athletic, caring, smart and a great team mate. I love to help my teammates on and off the field. I look forward to continue playing baseball.
