Ryder Roark '21 Recruiting Profile

My Motto has always been:  When the game is on the line, I want the ball in my hand. (Baseball, Football or Basketball)

I am a team leader and a team player.  If you need a homerun from me I'll give it to you.  If you want me to bunt the runner over to second, I'll do that too.  I've been playing baseball and football before I could walk.  I have 2 role models that I look up to that have played baseball their whole life the right way and that is my older brother and my dad.  My dad has coached me in Little League and in summer ball my whole life.  He is usually harder on me than the rest of the boys because he expects more out of me and I'm OK with that.   I have pitched the last 2 years for my High School team and I am undefeated with a 9 and 0 record and an ERA under 2.  This year will be my Senior year at Bosqueville and as Captain I look to lead my team to a State Championship.  I was on pace to do it last year until the season was cut short.  We were 9 and 1 last season and ranked in the Top 10. We should be ranked in the Top 10 this year too, so look for Bosqueville High School.  I can play any position on the field, except catcher.  I was outfielder my sophmore year and third baseman my junior year.  It's looking like I will be our shortstop my senior year.  I've been a .300 hitter both years and I've had less than 5 strikeouts at bat both seasons.  

Personally, I will always give you 100 percent and you will never hear me complain or cry about anything.  I'm not the type of person that only wants to play a certain position or only wants to play for a  Division I school.  I just want to play baseball.
