Daniel Kissel '23 Recruiting Profile

My passion for baseball began when I started taking cuts at my dad’s pitching in the driveway at age 4.  Baseball has been a huge part of my life since then, and I’m excited about bringing my passion and baseball skills to the collegiate level.  I have a strong desire to succeed and have always been very focused and committed to perform 110% when playing baseball.  My skill sets shine on the mound and at first base.  From my pitching experience, I have learned that I am super-competitive and relish the opportunity to go one-on-one to see who will come out on top.  My goal is to bring this determination and commitment to both my academic and baseball pursuits in college.  I have always prided myself in being a valuable member of my baseball team, staying motivated working hard and having a positive attitude in all that I do.
