Rae Hicok '23 Recruiting Profile

My Name is Rae Hicok, I am a high jumper, thrower, and sprinter from northern Virginia. My current high jump PR is 5'6", and over this past indoor season, I won both the district and region meets, and placed 3rd in the class 6A Va state meet. Recently I placed 5th in the 2022 Nike National indoor meet, making me an All-American jumper as a junior. I don't just work hard out on the track, I prioritize my academics, earning a 3.9/4.0 GPA. I am currently in four IB courses with all As and one B+.  On top of athletics and academics, I have played cello for the past seven and a half years, and play in my school's top orchestra. I have also been playing guitar for about 4 years. I am a very hard worker in everything I do and I am looking to study biology and eventually go into veterinary practice.
