- Trevor Mason (2022 SS, Chesapeake, VA) has a short, quick stroke with quality bat-to-ball skills and showed that with two well-struck singles in a grounder to left field and a liner to center. He's athletic in all aspects of the game and showed some two-way potential by reaching 84 mph on the mound in relief. Trevor Mason is a 2022 SS/RHP/2B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Chesapeake, VA who attends Isle Of Wight Academy. Recorded a 7.08 second 60-yard dash time. Athletic frame with broad shoulders and wiry strength present. Primary shortstop with quick feet and easy hands. Maintains body control well and shows accuracy from multiple slots. Quick release with quality arm strength recorded up to 81 mph. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a side step into a leg lift at the belt. Short and clean arm stroke with an over the top arm slot. Arm talent plays and shows a firmer changeup as well as a soft curveball. Righthanded hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and a narrow stance. Small hover step and shows fluidity in the swing plane. Fires hands quickly and shows a strong line drive approach to both gaps.
