June 2019 Personal Statement
I am an unparalleled worker on the field and in the classroom. I give 110% in everything I do. As a catcher, no balls get by me, I throw out more runners than are safe, and steal strikes for the pitcher. One of my hidden attributes is my ability to out think the hitter in the box. I can almost always tell what they are expecting and frustrate the hitter by not giving them what they want. As a freshman, I was the starting catcher on my high school's varsity team. I led the team in number of hits, batted third in the lineup, and was the first freshman to hit a homerun in program history. I received All-District and All-Region Honors. My goal is to play baseball at the highest possible level.
