Ryan Schneider '21 Recruiting Profile

I love baseball and it's always been a dream of mine to play baseball past high school. In addition to playing baseball it has also been important to me to continue my education after high school. I'm a great student and strive to always have the best grades. I'm mainly a pitcher but I am also a very versatile player as I've played multiple positions competitively. I've had a lot of experience and success playing baseball and my goal is to get better every day, whether it's taking that extra ground ball or fitting in an extra bullpen session. I feel that I bond with teammates very well and I think that's a really important part in baseball. It's a team sport and you have to rely on everyone to work together to get the job done. I'm a great team player and will do whatever the team needs me to do to be successful. The highlight of my baseball career so far was pitching my first varsity start freshman year, I helped my team to a shutout win. After this game I realized that I have what it takes to compete at the next level.
