My name is Nick Riley, I attend Fond du Lac High School class of 2021. I currently start on the Varsity soccer team and set a school record for saves in a season with 200 saves. Soccer has always been in the center of my life. I started playing when I was three years old and it has taught me leadership and dedication. My proudest moment was winning the Presidents Cup with my club team in 2016. The thing that sets me apart from my competition is my work ethic and dedication. I love to work on my game with my friends and teammates. I almost always will be the first one at the fields and the last one to leave during practices. I also will make custom practices with my coaches. My strengths are shot stopping, especially shots that many other goalkeepers cannot get to. My 6’5” frame and 6’7” wingspan allow me to cover almost the entire goal. I also excel at 1v1 situations. I use my feet very well in those situations. My biggest weakness is distribution. However, I work on my weaknesses untill they become my strengths and my distribution will improve. My dream goal for collegiate athletics is a D1 scholarship for soccer but I would gladly attend a D2 or D3 program if I can help the team and am a good fit. I am also a top student at my school and am planning to pursue a degree in Psychology. If you have any questions you can reach me at (920) 517-1215 or my email is [email protected].
