Zach Rombach '24 Recruiting Profile

I have always dreamed of playing collegiate sports. Ever since I picked up a bat when I was a little kid and started hitting whiffle balls over my house, I  knew I wanted to play. I love baseball. 

I lived in a big town and had the opportunity to play on a high-level travel ball team and played several positions and batted 6th. We moved away to a much smaller town, but I loved that because it gave me an opportunity to play other sports, too, instead of just baseball. 

I am a three-sport athlete and was the only freshman that will have played varsity in football, basketball, and baseball.

My sophomore year, I was a varsity letter winner in football, basketball, and baseball.

I have just completed my Junior year of High School and am proud that I earned first-team All-Conference in basketball this winter and first-team All-Conference and Conference Player of the Year in baseball, the first time anyone from my school has won the player of the year since 2006. I'm proud of that accomplishment and proud of my team and coaches for helping me earn that!

I feel like I'm very coachable and a great team guy, and I really like building up and helping my teammates.  

I think I would be a great addition to any team looking for a versatile, hard-working, hate-to-lose ballplayer.
