Whitney Myers '25 Recruiting Profile

Athletics has always been a major part of my life. I've grown up watching and participating in many athletics such as; volleyball, basketball, gymnastics, and softball. Growing up as the youngest of 5 with 4 older brothers, I've learned how to be humble, work hard, and strive for excellence. I have always had the goal to play college softball and through hard work and dedication; I hope to achieve that dream. As a player, I will do what is necessary to achieve athletic excellence. I spend a lot of time by myself working on my individual game, as I know practice is not enough reps to get better than yourself, and your competition. Along with athletics, I work to achieve academic excellence. Through taking upper-level classes, I have learned to persevere through difficulties in learning new things. These qualities have allowed me to have academic and athletic success, as I have achieved a 4.0 GPA throughout high school, and multiple athletic honors, including being a Division 4 State Champion my freshman year. If given the opportunity, I will continue to strive for excellence at the next level, and as a person.
