I will graduate high school with honors in 2022. Academics have always come easy to me. I am interested in attending a college or university with a civil engineering, engineering, or pre-engineering program. I am most passionate about pitching and it is demonstrated in my clean mechanics, my ability to quickly learn and master new grips and pitches, and maintain control on the mound. I enjoy reviewing and analyzing my pitching mechanics to look for areas where I can improve. In addition to pitching, I also have experience at third base. I expect honest feedback from my coaches, always valuing their opinions and expertise.
I began playing baseball at age 4, and began pitching at about age 9. I took pitching lessons around this time to prevent arm injuries. Mechanics are clean because of this. I feel I have been underestimated much of my middle and high school baseball career due to my build, despite my ability to perform on the mound.
Through baseball I have learned that I am mentally tough. I have been known to take the mound with bases loaded, and have successfully prevented further damage. I am energized and perform well in these high pressure situations.
