Connor Schroeder '24 Recruiting Profile

As an aspiring student-athlete, I am excited about continuing my baseball journey at the collegiate level, preferably at a small school in the Midwest where I can grow academically and athletically. From a young age, baseball has been an integral part of my life, shaping my character, work ethic, and discipline. Throughout my high school career, I have dedicated countless hours to practicing my skills on the field, pushing myself to become the best player I can be. I have received several team and conference awards recognizing my commitment to the sport of baseball.

As a student-athlete, I understand the importance of time management and the demands of balancing academics and athletics. I have consistently demonstrated my ability to excel in both areas by maintaining a 4.00 GPA while actively participating as a three-sport athlete, participating in several extracurricular activities, and volunteering for local community service initiatives. As a Junior, I enrolled in dual credit classes and will graduate from high school with 24 college credits - allowing me to get a jump start on my college general education requirements. Finally, as a Senior, I will participate in a work-study program where I will work two days a week to help with the financial responsibility of furthering my education at a higher level.
