My whole life I have been in softball, gymnastics, and dance. In 2019 I ended up not being able to play any of my sports because they were all shut down due to Covid. That was my 7th and 8th grade years. By the time things opened back up, it was my freshman year of high school and I decided to try out for the cheer team and did not make it but the same year I did make the competition team. By sophomore year I was very close with the coaches and decided to try out for the sideline team again and I made Junior Varsity but due to an injury I did not end up being able to do the stunt team. This year is my junior year and I tried out for the sideline and stunt team and made both of the teams. I currently went back to playing softball as well and realized that I am actually a way better player than I remembered and I have been asked to play for multiple travel ball teams but have turned them down because I want to make cheer one of my top priorities because I have came so far with it already. I plan on continuing my cheer and stunt journey in college because it means so much to me and it makes me feel like I can be apart of a family and friend group that I never have had before. On top of all of my sports I have been able to maintain good grades and a high GPA. I have always put schooling as my first priority and I plan on continuing that through my college career. I am 16 years old and the oldest of 5 children living in the household. I like to make a good example to not only my younger sibling but to my teammates as well.
