My name is Amelia Ioviero and I am a junior at Maryvale High School in Buffalo, NY. This year I joined an All Star Elite Senior Level 2 cheer team. I started cheering when I was in eighth grade and had the opportunity to cheer on both the Junior Varsity and Varsity cheer teams as a flyer. I have a passion, drive, and determination for cheer and constantly look for opportunities to help me grow and better myself in the cheer world. I currently spend 5 days a week at practice working on perfecting my skills. When I am not in the gym, I continue to work on skills such as strength and conditioning and flexibility as well as taking private tumbling lessons for an added skill. I am a versatile cheerleader, while my primary position was a flyer, I am now perfecting back spotting and learning to base. I don't just excel on the mat, I am also an honors student and involved in other school activities such as chorus, student government, softball, NJHS and a member of National Academy of Finance. Overall, I feel I am a well-rounded athlete and would make a fantastic addition to my future school and squad. I look forward to working with my future coaches and teammates!
