The goals and aspirations I will strive to achieve as I begin my college life are simple. Work hard in school to do the best I can, learn, grow and graduate. I aspire to meet new people and work with a cheer team that has high expectations. Good candidates for a team are members who are willing to practice diligently, always have a "we" attitude, take a leadership role when necessary and rally behind the leader that "steps up" when the time is right. I have been cheering since I was five years old on a travel team. I attained a level 6 tumbling, stunting and flyer routine in the seventh grade. My teams have competed in Nationals, Worlds and multiple competitions throughout multiple states. I have been part of an All Star Worlds team since the age of 12 which has provided a full understanding of the hard work and dedication it takes for such an achievement. Working with my cheer team for all of these years has helped build my character. A character full of hard work, dedication, loyalty and enjoyment. You must enjoy yourself even at times when practice and hard work can seem extremely repetitive. Have fun, lead when it is time to lead and support your leader during their moments of leadership. The character I built through my family, school, and cheer life can compete with any and that character will shine, day in and day out with no substitution. I am hopeful and look forward to adding a positive influence and a contributing to the success of our team.
