Hi, my name is Kassie Kearney. I am currently a Senior at North Rockland High School. My academic achievements dating back to Fieldstone Middle School include being on Honor Roll, Principal's List, Student of the Month, and earning the Triple "C" Award. In North Rockland High School, I have a 4.0 GPA and have achieved Principal's List. I am currently in the Academy of Finance Program and in Dual Enrollment College Classes. I am a member of the National Honor Society as well as a member of the Honor Societies at North Rockland High School for English, Science, Social Studies, Business and Mu Alpha Theta Mathematics and World Language-Italian. I am involved in the following NRHS Clubs: President of the Recycle Club, Vice President of the Italian Club, NRHS Best Buddies and Leaders for Life. Community Services I volunteer for are Meals on Wheels, Haverstraw King's Daughter Library, NRHS Holiday boxes for Veterans/Soldiers and NRHS Rockfest Cheer Competition, Walk to End Alz and NRHS Trunk and Treat. This year I am working on a Seal of Biliteracy for Italian.
My collegiate goals and aspirations are to be the best College Student and Cheerleader I can be. I will be majoring in Finance. It is my goal to cheer on a college team. I am looking forward to meeting new people, making lifelong friendships, and living independently.
I am an Elite All-Star Cheerleader who's been cheering for 12 years, I was 9 years old when I won my first Pop Warner Jr. Pee Wee Level 3 National Championship at ESPN in Orlando, Fla. I am on a Level 6 Coed team this season with US Cheer Rebels and the name is Rage. I have cheered Level 5 All-Star for CC Champs and US Cheer Rebels and Level 6 for Central Jersey All-Stars and Star Athletics NJ. I have cheered at many competitions including the biggest stages at Cheersport Nationals in Atlanta, NCA All-Star National Championship in Dallas, D2 Summit , Worlds and All Star World Championships. I am a side base, have all the top tumbling skills including running, standing, as well as jumps. I am constantly working on my skills and specialty passes with my team and private tumble coach.
My character is a product of my upbringing. My parents provided me with a support system that I could rely upon to get me through the ups and downs of my childhood and teenage years. Not only did they teach me the basics to be kind, trustworthy and caring. They also taught me to be strong, bold, confident and to always move forward.
I believe I am a perfect candidate for your cheer program. I have the personality, traits, characteristics, drive, grades and skill set that one needs to excel in such an environment.
Thank you for your consideration and I am looking forward to hearing from you.
