I started competitive cheerleading in 5th grade and have carried a deep passion for the sport ever since. It recently hit me that as a Senior this would possibly be my last year to cheer with my school team and cheer in general but then I thought why should that have to end. I realized getting the opportunity to cheer in college would allow me to continue with this passion for another 4 years and not have to leave it in high school. I believe I am a good candidate because I maintain a high GPA and academic grades while balancing cheer practice, and I will always strive to put in my best work. I also understand the commitment you need to put into a cheer team because what you do affects everyone else on the team and I know I will be able to display that commitment if I cheer in college.
