I began my cheerleading career in middle school and rose to cheer captain my junior year of high school. My main position has been flyer. I am a hard worker waking up at 5 am to go to cheer practice at my high school and weekends at private tumbling class to hone my skills. What makes me different is that even though I sustained a traumatic injury to my leg involving a crossbow bolt, I came back strong and more determined than ever to regain my strength. I not only excel in cheer, I also am in varsity theatre, 4th year of American Sign Language, and maintain high marks in college level courses. I am in the top 6% of my class.
