Field hockey to me is a huge passion of mine and is a big part of my everyday life. With field hockey, I plan to attend a highly-respected four year university where I can further both my academic success, but also athletic success as a goalie on their field hockey team. I began field-hockey in the 6th grade, at a field hockey clinic/camp before I started school at Harvard-Westlake. Before field-hockey, I played softball, soccer and basketball, but field hockey took strong priority over the rest and had all my attention and focus during middle and high school.
Field hockey in Santa Monica, California has always been quite the challenge to play, but I drive over an hour to Moorpark college to play for my club team and 45 minutes to school, to play for my high-schools varsity team, the Wolverines. While being on the team, we have been undefeated for 3 years in-a-row, winning the LAFHA Southern California Championships each year. My school team members have easily become a second family to me. I also play for WC Riptide and the Ventura Country Red Devils.
The degree in which I would like to study in college is undetermined, however, I have many interests in things such as: music technology, finance, film, architect, interior design, photography, video art, music theory, finance, and criminal law. Both on and off the field, I am a social, respectable listener that is always able to be a strong leader for your team. I will continue to be a strong asset to my team members, peers, and classmates no matter the environment that I am in.
While I am filled with tons of school spirit and pride, I am fully committed to my schoolwork at all times. I currently attend high-school at Harvard-Westlake in Studio City, California and try to be the most hard-working, dedicated, and determined student in every class that I take.
Playing field hockey in college is a dream of mine and would be something I promise to give my all too.
