Throughout my five years of playing field hockey, I have continued to improve each year as each time I step on the field I strive to be scrappy, communicative, and encourage teammates while being eager to improve my own field hockey skills. Even when just being a sophomore on a varsity team I find different ways to lead the team calmly and consistently. I have been fortunate to attend excellent, diverse, highly academic schools from Montessori to Hopkins (New Haven) and most recently St. Andrews (Delaware). It's important to me that I attend a top-notch college where I will continue to be intellectually stretched.
I am quick and each game I play with intensity and a never quitting mindset. I was the only player to consistently keep a position of center-mid due to my proper field positioning, running offensively and defensively to help my teammates. Every time I play I strive to be empathetic, an active listener, a caring teammate/mentor, while taking direction from coaches and teammates on and off the field.
