Giovanna Kautz '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Giovanna I am 5'4 and 155lbs. I currently play for my high school field hockey team as the starter varsity goalkeeper. I have been playing field hockey as a goalkeeper for 6 years. Each year I fall more in love with the sport. Each year I challenge myself to see how I can improve both academically and athletically. I feel as if there is never a time when you can't do better, there never will be a perfect so I am constantly working on bettering myself mentally, academically, athletically. I am known to be a hard worker and easily adaptive to change. I am an inquisitive person. I like to learn new things and to ask questions, always curious about what more can be done. 

In college I plan on majoring in Physical Therapy and minoring in either Biology or Music. I am very open to all different colleges and have no preferences. I am very interested in learning about different programs and hopefully finding the program that fits me best!
