Kaitlyn Darrah '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello coaches! My name is Kaitlyn Darrah, and I attend Kennebunk High School. My favorite subjects include English, Math, and Biology because they all will help me for my future education of hopefully becoming an equine physiotherapist, and I greatly enjoy them! Field Hockey is my favorite sport, and I have learned a great amount of knowledge in this sport since I started when I was 7. Playing at different levels has given me an amazing range of feedback from my past coaches that has strengthened me, and helped make me the person I am today. I have the amazing privilege to play on the varsity team at my school, and have been a starter for the 2022, 2023, and 2024 seasons; so being in this environment truly strengthens my play, and I couldn't be happier about it. Field hockey has helped me become a better leader and gain qualities that have really come in handy as I become more of a leader on my team. I know that I have thrived in this sport mentally and physically as it has become an important part of my life inside and outside of school. I was reminded throughout my high school and club seasons that my personality and positivity were appreciated on the team, and I always love making people happy, and creating a better team for all to connect and enjoy. I believe that a team isn’t just made up of playbooks and scheduled practices, I think it’s made up of a combination of supportive, honest, and kind teammates who have a good sense of grit and determination to make the team a success on and off the field. I greatly look forward to speaking to you about future opportunities, and greatly appreciate you looking out for players like me!
