Hi! I am Gabrielle LaCroix, Class of 2023. I am 16 years old and I have been playing field hockey for 8 years. I think that my teammates and coaches would best describe me as determined, as well as optimistic. They think that I make them look good with my smart passing, but I just strive to be a leader in my game on and off the field. I try to encourage and help not just my teammates, but anyone who needs it. On the weekends, my family and I volunteer for 4 hours distributing food to those who are less fortunate. At my high school, I am involved in many leadership and community service clubs, which helps me grow as a person, as well as an field hockey player. I also work very hard in my academics. I am ranked 12th in my junior class, out of 134 students. I believe that if I continue my work ethic and compassion and bring all that I have learned in my life, into college, I will be a great college field hockey player.
