Hi my name is Alli Cherry and I am a senior at St. Mary's High School in Annapolis, MD. I have started all varsity years and was selected as a team captain starting in my junior year. This year my high school coach has me playing OH and all around. I improved my total kills to 152 as OH. This year we won the IAAM Championship Title. I was also selected by the Baltimore Sun as Player of the Week. The video of my first two years was as MB but last season my video shows me as OH. I currently carry a 3.49 GPA while playing other sports in addition to volleyball including ice hockey, softball, and track & field. I am interested in studying business management, hospitality, culinary arts, food management, or entrepreneurship as well as an interest in service academies (Coast Guard). Past awards include: 2018 Coaches Award for VB, PNC player of the month, Saints Award (given to one male and one female athlete selected by the Athletic Department), 2017 Unsung Hero in Indoor Track and Field, and 2019 MVP for Outdoor Track and Field. I participated in Catholic Heart Work Camp for the past two summers. I would like to continue service opportunities in college. I would love to continue to play volleyball in college and my coaches have encouraged me to take the next steps to play in college.
