I compete with Next Level Field Hockey club team in Maryland, and on the varsity field hockey team at Holton-Arms School where I play both defense and midfield. My primary roles include scoring and assisting, distributing the ball, inserting on attacking corners, supporting quick transitions, and helping execute our press. Last season I helped lead my team to the semifinals of the ISL (Independent School League) top 4.
Beyond athletics I’ve gained valuable experience through an internship with The Meakem Group, a financial planning company, and I work as a certified lifeguard. This winter outside of school I am pursuing a certificate in Social Entrepreneurship through the Social Innovators Program, a collaboration between the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy and Practice, Holton-Arms, and Schoolyard Ventures.
I was recently inducted into the National Society for High School Scholars and have qualified as a candidate for the Congressional Award.
One of my most memorable experiences was traveling to The Netherlands last summer (2024) where I trained and competed with male and female athletes from across Europe. Last July, 2023 I had the privilege of traveling to South Africa with my club team for two weeks of training and competition in Johannesburg, Pretoria, and Polokwane. There, I learned to play on new surfaces and embraced different playing styles. In December, 2023 I was selected to represent Team USA at the 2023 Pan American Maccabi Games in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I competed alongside over 4,000 athletes from more than 20 countries. Our U16 team earned the bronze medal after defeating Argentina 3-2 in a hard-fought final. I started in every game and played a key role in our success.
International field hockey training has been transformative, elevating my skills and expanding my perspective on the global hockey community. These experiences inspired me to create Field Foster International, a website dedicated to empowering female athletes worldwide.
As a student-athlete, I strive to balance my academic and athletic commitments. I am currently enrolled in several challenging courses and have maintained a strong academic record in a competitive high school environment.
