Grayson Raiford '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello coaches, my name is Grayson Raiford! Field hockey is my passion, and I've been playing for nine years, and started when I was in third grade, where I automatically fell in love with the sport. I'm very dedicated both academically and athletically to play at a collegiate level, and am working hard every day, both in school and on the field, to get better every day. I'm a very versatile player with quick stickwork and strong hits and shots.  I play club for Alpha Hockey, as well as for the varsity team at Oakdale High School in Ijamsville MD. My love of the game drives me to improve and to become a better player, and I'm looking for a college that will challenge me academically as well as being a good fit athletically. Currently, I'm in all honors classes with a 3.94 unweighted GPA and a 4.6 GPA , and I've been a varsity starter since freshman year, while winning MVP and All Conference Second Team as a sophomore.
