Camryn Martin '21 Recruiting Profile

I have wanted to play field hockey in college since fifth grade. This sport is a huge part of my life so I want to play for a competitive team at the next level. I am aiming towards a path to find the right balance between athletics and academics, I take school very seriously and want to focus my free time  towards studying and not just sports. 

I am a team player, I promise to encourage my teammates no matter what, whether that’s on the starting lineup or the bench.  I am a very hard worker and I’m determined to succeed in school and sports. I work hard in the off season with my club team and I run track to stay fit. I also take AP/Honors classes to challenge myself in the classroom, I am not afraid of hard work. 

I’m very hard on myself and I spend a lot of time getting better. I am always looking for ways to step up my game and how to help improve my teammates.
