Personal Statement
I have been swimming for10 years. In 2020, I was selected to represent Loyola Blakefield Aquatics at the Maryland Swimming Athlete Leadership Summit.
Michael Jordan's statement: "If you do the work, you get rewarded. There are no shortcuts in life" summarizes my philosophy as a student athlete. When I practice or compete, my coaches will tell you, I give 100% to each set and encourage my teammates when they are discouraged. I absolutely LOVE a hard work out and consider the best practices to be the most challenging ones.
I work extremely hard outside of my regular swim practice to lift weights and stretch while maintaining a high GPA and taking college and AP courses.
My goal is to attend a college with strong academic programs in engineering and science and to swim on a college swim team that has a fierce team spirit and wins titles.
