The people that influenced me the most are my family members and friends. I became interested in field hockey freshman year of high school. I became interested in my sport when my friends were talking about trying out and they told me that I should try out too. Before I actually started to play I thought I wasn't going to like it, but after I made the team and played games I started to love playing. When the seasons are over I get sad because I miss playing field hockey. In my sport I learned that when you take your mistakes you can use them to make yourself better at field hockey. Also, when the team lost games I didn't give up or get mad, I actually learned from my mistakes. My academic goals for high schools is to graduate with good grades and a good GPA. When I go to college my academic goal is to study to become a nurse. The reason I want to become a nurse is to help make the world a better place and to help people live a better and healthier life. I recently just completed nursing 2 at my high school and I applied to nursing 3 so I can continue with the nursing program. To get where I am now with my life, I've had to overcome many obstacles. I've had to overcome my learning disability. I've had to learn how to cope with ADHD and my learning disability. I've had to push through the pain of losing 2 loved ones in a short period of time. The reason why I was able to overcome these obstacles is because I have the support from my family to help me . Also, I don't let things like those stop me from doing something that I love to do. The unique characteristics that I have is that I don't give up easily, I won't back down from things. The skills I have is that I've been dancing for 12 years. Also, I currently hold a black belt in martial arts. When things that appear in my life that are bad, I push through them because I won't let it stop me. If a problem appears I will find the best solution to it so I can push past in and continue on with what I am doing with my life. My goals for life is to become a teacher so I can help kids learn new things even the kids that don't think that they are able to learn.
