Kyra Duane '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kyra, I am a Junior at Marlborough High school. I'm a midfielder and play varsity field hockey with my school and on my club team, Strikers. I've been playing field hockey since I was 13, and have been involved in sports my whole life, from soccer to basketball to volleyball, all these experiences have shaped me into the person I am today. Field hockey has taught me so much on how to work hard and use your skills to your advantage. Though I play mostly midfield, I am a versatile player who can play any position at any time. I have strong hits and blocks on defense, while being able to cross the ball around the goal for an assist or a shot. I work with my teammates to the last minute and am always looking to get more reps or game play in whenever I can. You can count on me to put in the work and openly able to listen and apply new skills or advice.
