I have been playing sports for my whole life with a passion for competition and wanting to play my absolute best, while having fun of course. As soon as I was introduced to field hockey I immediately fell in love with the sport, and decided that my next goal in life would be to compete in field hockey at the next level; the college level. I know that it takes an immense amount of dedication, sacrifice, passion, and determination in order to be a successful college athlete, and I believe that I have what it takes. Life itself is a competition to me, and I believe that in order to succeed at anything you must put in effort at all times and be willing to give it your all, even in the face of failure. In my academics I strive not only to do my best, but to be the best. This mindset follows with me into my athletics as well and has helped me succeed in the many varsity sports I participate in. In both sports and academics I am a very adaptable person and am willing to fall as long as it means that I can practice, learn and become better enough in order to stand back up again. I plan on majoring somewhere in biology, and in my future career I hope that with a good education I can help various people with my studies and hard work. With my determined and competitive personality, my willingness to learn and succeed, and my drive to do well academically as well as physically in field hockey, I believe that I would make a great candidate for a college field hockey team.
