Hello, my name is Mia Simpson. Field hockey has been my passion ever since I can remember and I have always dreamed of playing in college. This sport is a get-away for me, where I can focus all of my energy into the game and helping my teammates win. To play field hockey you have to have a positive, non-selfish mind because we play as a team, together, not as individuals. I have been playing for 9 years now and the experiences I have encountered have helped me play at a higher level. Playing in USA Field Hockey tournaments and playing on a Varsity High School team has really prepared me for the collegiate level of play and commitment. Every time I am on the field I want to get better, faster and stronger. I work very hard at practice, during games and I am dedicated to working on my fitness through out the year. I am also involved in extra curricular activities at school so I have learned to balance school, work, clubs after school as well as lacrosse and field hockey. Being disciplined has really prepared me for the rest of my high school years and college years of being a student athlete. My proudest moments so far have been being named the KFNS 590 Sports Radio Athlete of the Week, being named 1st Team All Conference, 2nd Team All Metro, Winning our pool at the 2018 National Hockey Festival and our club being named U16 #1 Club team in the Nation! Overall this has been a very successful year for me and I appreciate your consideration to my profile and I hope to hear from you in the future! Thank you!
Sincerely,
Mia Simpson
