I am a well rounded student who excels in academics as well as sports. I am searching for a college that offers a biology major with a concentration in forensic science. I have been involved in sports since I was 10. Entering high school I found myself being involved in Field Hockey, Indoor Track and Field, and Outdoor Track and Field. I noticed that I became a key asset to the teams I was involved in. Not long after I saw myself leading the various groups I am apart of.
What sets me apart from other athletes is my work ethic, and passion for the sport. There is always room for improvement, but walking onto the field everyday with a need to be there allows me to reach my full potential. Throughout the year I find different things to improve on which allows me to take huge strides in my gameplay. I make it a priority to absorb as much knowledge and corrections as possible. Every morning I discipline myself to drag my body out of bed at 6 A.M, and arrive to Timberlane pushing myself harder and harder each day in the weight room and on the track. It all paid off once the Field Hockey season came, I was in shape and excelled in athletic performance. Moving forward, it taught me the value of hardwork and determination and how it all pays off in the end. I've created a balance between school, athletics, and work. Over the summer I've worked an average of 40 hours a week, while continuing my athletic training. I am a firm believer in the three D's you need to succeed. Desire, discipline, and determination.
