I began running in 7th grade to train for my black belt. In my first race, I just ran and got a 14:27on a 1.96-mile course. I went on to get 96th at that year's states. Last year, I went to states my freshman year and got a 19:57. Due to COVID-19, there was no spring track. I have no recent times for track; however, I have an unofficial mile time from a short run of 5:45. I also love to play ice hockey and have been playing for almost 11 years, and skating for 12-13. I am a very good student and work hard. I enjoy being around people and being part of a team. I would love to run in college for track and cross country. I am different from others because I will always be one of the hardest working athletes.
