My goal is to attend a university or college that offers a well-coached women's hockey program and an excellent undergraduate science curriculum that will allow me to reach my full potential both as a player and as a person. I am a good candidate because I am hard-working, a good team player, motivated, and coachable. In particular, I am a fast learner and appreciate challenges where I can learn and grow. I thrive in a team environment because I relate well to a wide variety of people, and have been playing team sports since I was three. I am a natural leader and enjoy motivating my teammates and helping them stay focused. I recognize the importance of being well-rounded in life and am able to balance hockey, lacrosse, academics, community service, and life; maintaining a straight-A academic record with AP and honors classes while playing Tier 1 hockey.
