Wanting to play field hockey at the collegiate level after high school is not just because I love the sport, It is also because I want to create strong bonds and build families with people of the same interests. Not a single thing in the world makes me happier than I am while playing field hockey. I would not be the same without it. I have been playing varsity field hockey since my sophomore season. My junior season I had about five goals and an assist and my sophomore year I had one goal and one assist. Along with high school field hockey, I also play on a club team called south jersey edge for the past three years. Yesterday at our first indoor tournament, I actually had three goals! However, as great as goals are, it's not always about goals. It's teamwork. You can't score without teamwork, you would be nothing and be unable to accomplish anything without eachother. And that is the best part about field hockey. I have never been so passionate about something in my life. I want to continue playing field hockey after high school and to be able continue playing would be a dream come true. You have to be confident in order to succeed, and that I am. I am very proud to say I stand out, in many ways, and I cannot wait to show that to the college that I eventually go to.
